I’m able to explain more familiar topics and consolidate the students understandings on them and then help them build larger connections to more complex topics by drawing out the students understanding from those and building upon their own ideas. My high-school Chemistry teacher told me this once I graduated, “Nobody asks as many unanswerable questions in the middle of class like you.” I believe that asking questions that nobody else thinks of is what makes you truly knowledgeable about your subject and shows you have a deep understanding of said subject, so I took her statement as a compliment. I hope to instill the same curiosity about the natural sciences and how they shape our world as well as how our world works from an economics lens.

I can teach anyone and help them understand in their own ways.
