Michi issues one itemized card-only Stripe invoice when each month closes and charges the saved default card automatically shortly afterwards. Itemized reminders are sent 7, 3, and 1 day before collection, and families without a saved card receive the hosted invoice by email until they add one.

Billing is pay-as-you-go with no prepaid credit, wallet, stored value, or lesson package. If an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, new paid lessons are paused until payment is reconciled; free intro calls remain available. Signed Stripe provider events reconcile card payments; finance handles only exception review manually.

The standard payment path is Stripe's card invoice. If Michi exceptionally instructs a bank transfer or cash payment, finance records and reconciles it using a unique external reference. Konbini/convenience-store payment, Stripe virtual-account furikomi, prepaid credit, wallets, stored value, and lesson packages are later candidates only after volume and survey data justify them. Receipts are issued on request.
