Tutor Policy

Tutors must keep student data inside approved Michi channels, avoid private off-platform contact unless approved, and submit accurate lesson notes promptly.

Michi may review, suspend, and quality-check tutor profiles. Background-check status is recorded separately from profile approval.

Tutor matching is manually reviewed. Michi checks your preferred tutor, subject, and learning context before confirming fit, and first-session fit issues route to a free re-match.

Michi reviews tutor quality through rebooking/retention, session completion, response time, review scores, student surveys, and verified complaints. P-band promotion review starts at 70% rebooking over a meaningful sample, and the response target is within 24 hours.

A review average below 3.5 over 5 or more reviews triggers a check-in; a review average below 2.5 with rebooking below 40% over 10 or more sessions, or verified complaints, triggers ops review. Inactivity alone is not a demotion or offboarding reason.

Tutor payout eligibility requires the structured lesson report; payouts are monthly in arrears by bank transfer, and under-threshold amounts roll into a later payout.
